The moslem man, whom we've seen in the News some lately, explains regarding a true tragedy, the loss of his son in Iraq combat as an U.S. soldier... by a sophisticated trans-national red-tape process, he is on paper an American citizen. I don't believe the invasions of Iraq and Iran were wise, justifiable. The media appears to have some feeling of warmth towards him, and perhaps I have too. The problem is he's moslem, and a moslem cannot be an American- if instead of following a sophisticates' doctrine you use revelation- an old term I hesitate a little to use myself. As regards the idea of moslems swearing off their religion in order to become American citizens, this does not seem a good idea to me, a chief reason being that generally one should not formally swear off one's birth religion, documentedly. If born and baptized into such and such a church, it's not likely wisdom to baptise into and join another church, for Christians- such religious conversion rarely works well! Many hardly ever go around that church of their baptism, though- there might be wisdom in this, especially if born protestant.
Unfortunately, there should be no country where the population is part moslem, part some other religion or religions. It won't work. People, some leaders, think we should continue to endure the situation, the result of error; as if on crutches, gratefully it might seem somehow, enduring injury persistently! The isogenic nature of the moslem religion, and the exceeding volatility and danger in the admixture with others, is a remarkable thing- as is an idiosyncatic tendency probably correct to associate with arabs.
A Brave New Government would address such concerns adequately- The President takes just a small step in this direction; because of the exceeding popularity of crappola doctrine and beliefs, I'm not sure if the very best adjustment can be accomplished easily. Possibly Providence will brink it about, naturally, over some time. A leader could use Revelation- but if it might be construed as conflicting with some document on-file, of particular interest to people who wear glasses, there's probably going to be a sophisticate reaction, of those skeptic types, with their belief that there's always plenty of time I discuss or even hold a great Platonic symposium on issues which, pressing, should be addressed immediately and incisively.
